October 18th marks ‘International Credit Union Day’ and we’re marking the day with our own annual tradition – our “Day of Difference”. We’ll close our doors a little early that day, and over 500 employees will fan out across 14 communities to lend a helping hand to those organizations who work tirelessly for the benefit of others. And that’s not all. We want to keep the good vibrations going, and create a wave of local good by offering $100 to 100 people to do great things in their communities with the “$10,000 Local Give”.

October marks Small Business Month throughout BC and celebrates the contribution of small businesses and entrepreneurs to our local economies and communities. We thought this was the perfect time to draw attention to some of our own small business members.

“Every time I get the opportunity and I find myself in a position, I want to create an impact in someone’s life. I want to be an advocate for communities coming together, serving together and investing together. I have seen it work. I want to be a part of seeing communities transform.” – Mercy Tumukunde
