Meet Nicole Arnott, an almost fifteen (her anniversary is in September!) year Member Service Advisor veteran at our Ashcroft branch. Always a team player, Nicole continuously goes out of her way to jump in and help out her co-workers when ever they are in need. In addition to going above and beyond at work, Nicole is involved in as many community events as possible. Whether it’s the Interior Savings’ Moonlight Movie event, or helping her daughter’s Karate club attend international competitions, you can find Nicole always playing a key role in their success.
We asked Nicole a few questions about life, local love and working at Interior Savings. Here’s what she had to say
What do you like about working at Interior Savings?
I love how involved Interior Savings is with the communities it serves, the Moonlight Movie is one of my favorite events that we do. It is so great to partner with different non profit organizations and that all of the money raised benefits them.
What causes/organizations are you passionate about?
The Elizabeth Fry Society! They do so much for our community with the local food bank, Santa for seniors, counselling, and offering multiple courses to name a few. I have personally benefited from their services, as well as seeing the impact they make on lives of members in our community.
What does supporting local mean to you? Why is it important?
Supporting local means keeping your money where you live. It is so important to support our local economy to help it thrive.
What’s your favorite local place to shop/eat/play?
Shop: Our local Safety Mart, I love that everyone knows everyone and you can usually get a visit in while you shop
Eat: Horsting’s Farm Market, if you are ever in the area make sure and stop by for a homemade sandwich and soup!
Play: The Hub, it offers so much, anywhere from a gym to dance classes to plays put on by our local theater group
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t eat yellow snow.
What’s your biggest impulse buy OR something that you buy daily/weekly that is a small indulgence?
Our branch bi-weekly trips to Junctions Coffee House for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, it may be better than Starbucks!
Who would you nominate for the next feature and why?
I would nominate Aliesha Hunter, she is my go to when I have a question on a registered product. She is so knowledgeable and so helpful, you never feel like you are bothering her. Aliesha is such an asset to Interior Savings.
A big thank you to Nicole for going above and beyond with everything she does. We’re so grateful to have you on our team!
