Yes – we offer you all the financial products and services you need to live life your way. But we’re member-owned and community-focused. Imagine that: a financial institution whose bottom line is – first and foremost – serving our members and their communities. For us, being different works. We have 75 years of proof that making communities stronger is good for business and great for people.
Today, we’ve surpassed 71,000 members and we’re now serving 14 communities, and we thank our members for that success.
Because we’re different, the way we say thank you is different too.
We recently sent a magician around to all 14 communities in which we live and work to surprise and delight people and to give away a little money as he went. And we’re not done yet!
On October 15th we’ll celebrate what we like to call the Interior Savings Day of Difference.
This is a day to celebrate the difference our members are making, and to make a difference to the many community groups and organizations who work tirelessly to ensure everyone in our community is taken care of.
For the second year in a row, we’ve chosen to celebrate on International Credit Union Day – when credit unions around the world celebrate the achievements of the credit union movement, and all the amazing contributions that, thanks to their membership, they are empowered to make.
On October 15th we’ll be fueling up our employees with breakfast before greeting our members in branches with thank you treats and gifts (branches will open at 9:30). We’ll lock up a little early, and at 2:00 pm over 500 Interior Savings Credit Union and Insurance employees will put on their jeans, roll up their sleeves and go out into the community to help make a difference.
That’s what our Day of Difference is about.
As an Interior Savings member, when you see our blue community crew shirts working hard in your community, we hope you feel a sense of pride for choosing to support a local credit union that’s giving back to your community.
