The Welcome to Canada Program
We are committed to providing support and assistance to those in need in our communities. It goes back to our cooperative roots and our purpose of making a positive difference in people’s lives and building vibrant communities.
To meet the financial needs of arriving refugees, we’re happy to announce the Welcome to Canada program. The program includes;
- Chequing Account with fees waived for one year
- Travel Loan: to assist those with government issued travel expense loans so that they may payout their interest-bearing loan and benefit from our interest-free loan
- Home Renovations Loan: an interest-free loan to help our existing members who are renovating a suite to house a refugee family.
