Not only are the number of older adults in BC increasing, but they are living longer than anywhere else in Canada. Research shows that focusing on how well we age is key to enhancing the quality of our later years. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce that Okanagan Embrace Aging is back for its 5th year and offering the largest line-up to date of seminars and workshops to help you age you well.

Interior Savings has partnered with The Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention and Interior Health Authority to present over 30 free events throughout the Okanagan during the month of March. The aim is to inspire and inform our community on steps we can all take to age well – both mentally and physically.

The line-up of seminars covers everything from becoming savvy with technology, staying active and strong physically and staying connected to our loved ones and community.

We’re especially pleased to play an active role in Okanagan Embrace Aging Month by providing seminars on scam prevention, estate planning and special presentations in Kamloops, Kelowna and Oliver from famed broadcaster and writer, Jay Ingram, on Alzheimer’s in the 21st Century. You won’t want to miss it!

All events are free and open to the public, however registration is required. For full event details or to register go to https://www.okanaganembraceaging.com/.
